报告摘要：

  The talk is based on two old papers, Seeley (1971) and Jensen (1988). It follows that knowledge about the exponential family plays a key role. Maximum likelihood inference is applied. Some derivations and example will be presented.

报告人简介：

  Dietrich von Rosen is currently a Visiting Professor in Mathematical Statistics at the Department of Mathematics, Linköping University. In 1998, he was appointed full Professor of Statistics at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Department of Energy and Technology, from which he formally retired in 2024. From 2009 to 2024, he also served as Adjunct Professor in Mathematical Statistics at Linköping University, and he remains affiliated with the Department of Mathematics there. In addition, he worked at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm for more than six years. His research covers linear models, multivariate analysis, bilinear models, high-dimensional analysis, and matrix algebra. He has authored more than 130 peer-reviewed articles, and 19 Ph.D. students under his supervision have successfully defended their theses. He has also published two books, Advanced Multivariate Statistics with Matrices and Bilinear Regression Analysis: An Introduction. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Multivariate Analysis, has organized several international conferences and workshops, and maintains many ongoing international collaborations. In 2014, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Tartu, Estonia. From 2025 to 2028, he will serve as Distinguished Adjunct Professor at Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU).
